OUR PARTICULATE FILTERS

 

Our PARTICULATE filters are designed to slow the movement of solid-state particles emitting from the exhaust tail pipe and further sieving the exiting gases to trap the solid soot particles behind. This solid captured pollution material known as " PARTICULATE MATTER" is collected periodically to be recycled as:

Handling of the captured soot in its raw form can be dangerous and extremely toxic to our respiratory system. At planet Green EVO-TECH we neutralize this Particulate Matter from its airborne state to solvent based states that are used for the aforementioned by-products.

 

SOOT RETRIEVAL & MENTAINANCE

Once the old smokey commercial diesel vehicles are fitted with our Exhaust Carbon filters, the vehicles are brought back to our service workshop once a month where we change their engine oil at 20-30% less of the market price (We take their old dirty oil, filter it with a state of art filtration system and top-up with new oil to bring it to the required oil gage. We take this unique opportunity and window to harvest and clean our particulate filters of the carbon buildup(soot) to be used for various by- products thereafter.

 

OUR RECYCLED CARBON SOOT AS FERTILIZERS  

 

Soot is a good fertilizer because it contains a high concentration of Carbon and Nitrogen. Carbon is an essential nutrient for plants, as it helps them to build their cells. Nitrogen is also an essential nutrient, as it helps plants to grow and produce fruit. Soot can be used as fertilizer on a variety of plants, including vegetables, fruits, flowers and trees. It can be applied to the soil in solid or solvent form. When applied to the soil, soot helps to improve the soil’s fertility, drainage and helps improve the plants’ overall health and vigor. Soot as a natural fertilizer can be safe for the environment when handled correctly and with caution.

 

OUR RECYCLED CARBON SOOT AS SOIL AMMENDMENT  

Soot can be added to the soil at any time of year. It is best to add soot to the soil in the fall or spring. This will give the soot time to decompose and to improve the soil before the next growing season. Soot can be added to the soil in a variety of ways. It can also be added to the soil in the form of compost.

 

 

SPECIAL AUCTIONS

Our Paints, Inks and Fertilizer Products can be Auctioned to generate funds to aid our Climate Advocacy Programs and further Technological Advancement in our fight against Global Warming.

Paints can be Auctioned to producers and distributors of carbon polluting fossil fuel products like giant Petroleum companies, Refineries, (etc.) to raise funds as well as help reduce their respective carbon footprints. We would welcome any help with this initiative from your institution in this regard.

  TREE PLANTING PROJECT (OPERATION 1 MILLION TREES)

       At Planet Green EVO-TECH, Biodiversity of trees and wildlife is an important factor we consider when we choose trees in collaboration with Planet Green EVO FOUNDATION.  We prefer local species acclimatized to the locality to improve biodiversity and the chances of survival. This is done to synergistically achieve our global warming & reafforestation aims without changing or altering the biodiversity of the proposed geographical planting area.  

 

MAJOR FACTORS TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION:

(A). The Birds, monkeys and small mammals like rodents that eat the fruits and help with reproduction of tree species through their droppings are a greatly considered factor at PLANET GREEN EVO-TEC. Survivability of the animals and trees are interdependent on each other and cannot be overlooked. 

 

(B). Insects that feed on nectar and help pollinate them in the form of asexual reproduction is another factor we consider. Insects as they harvest nectar from flowers, pick up the pollen. They go on to the next plant carrying the pollen with them. So, beneficial insects such as bees, wasps, ladybugs, moths and butterflies help in the plant reproduction process by acting as pollinators. The species of insects that thrive in a locality can also not be overlooked when we choose tree species.

 

(C). Our Tree planting effort is primarily an ecological restoration project but with an enhanced strategy to ensure survivability of the Trees. Some Tree planting schemes across much of the world have failed or fallen victim to poorly thought-out tree planting execution planning. Trees must be maintained throughout their life cycle with increasingly harsh and unpredictable climates especially with Global warming affecting all weather patterns. It’s particularly important that varieties are chosen which can withstand extremes of drought and flooding.  We ensure trees continue to live healthily once the planting project has ended. We create an enabling environment between the people and the trees by developing a symbiotic & interdependent relationship between the locals and the trees planted. Our tree-planting projects are therefore designed with the aim of removing carbon from the atmosphere and improving soil quality but also with the local communities in mind to address their needs for increased income as well as climate resilience.

       The economic value the trees bring to the local communities, plays an important role in their survival.  It’s vital that the trees we plant can help the local people to develop sustainable sources of income. Growing trees which produce end products which can be sold for financial sustainability ensures that the locals protect and care for the trees after the initial tree planting campaigns. We work in conjunction with the Local Chiefs, Authorities and Decision makers to provide a platform to sensitize the locals on the effects of Global warming, Our combat approach and the benefits of our tree planting campaign to their financial status as well as the environment. We weave the importance of the trees into the everyday fabric of their lives, hence making it a collective effort between PLANET GREEN EVO FOUNDATION & the Locals to keep these trees to see out their respective lifespans over many generations to come.  

         With special emphasis on the fight against “the illegal mining canker” (known in Ghanaian parlance as GALAMSEY) which is destroying farm lands, water bodies and forest vegetation within Ghana and entire the sub region, careful planning and an agreement in principle with the local authorities for a duration of 100 years of land use is a key factor to be considered for the proposed planting area. This will protect the area as a reservation by law, which will be a big win for mother nature.

    Our strategy is to work with advice from the Forestry Commission & Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and also in close collaboration with the Soil Research Institute of the COUNCIL FOR SCIENTIFIC & INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH (CSIR) or in a different country, their equivalents, to determine, probe and validate the proposed planting area to assure the highest success rate of the project.

        There is a special emphasis on taking care of the trees as the trees (Flora) have been taking care of us animals (Fauna) since time immemorial. And at PLANET GREEN EVO-TEC, we believe it is time for a role reversal. Its about time we use scientific resources and advanced proven research to aid mother nature in our collective fight against global warming. With the help of PLANET GREEN EVO FOUNDATION, we make it a lifelong goal to take care of the trees that maintain the balance on our planet in our quest to suck out as much CO2 pollution as possible.  The aim is to develop a system where every tree contributes to the greater good, every fruit plucked adds to the community, and every acre of land combats climate change. At the same time, this very same approach breaks the cycle of poverty that leads to deforestation trends in the first place.

   Ultimately, we aim to attain high-quality Carbon Credits for the COMMUNITIES INVOLVED, PLANET GREEN EVO-TECH and PLANET GREEN EVO-FOUNDATION in our quest to neutralize as much annual net CO₂ emissions per year as possible.
